In a strange way, architecture is really an unfinished thing, because even though the building is finished, it takes on a new life. It becomes part of a new dynamic: how people will occupy it, use it, think about it.
– Daniel Libeskind
I started out trying to create buildings that would sparkle like isolated jewels; now I want them to connect, to form a new kind of landscape, to flow together with contemporary cities and the lives of their peoples.

I draw in inspiration from all around me. From buildings to books and films. But one of my favorite forms of inspiration is the people in my life. Especially the women of my family. I was happy to show just a small way they inspire me by being apart of the "1MOVE: DES19NED BY..." series created by the Movement Theatre Company. A designer-driven initiative where the designer acts with absolute freedom as the lead artist to create digital content in response to the social and political issues affecting their world, namely anti-Blackness, global uprisings, and COVID-19.
